Here is how I find out if a carrot is ready to be picked or not… I pull it out of the ground and ask it if it is ready… If it looks like the picture shown here, it wasn’t ready. That is all the answer I get from a carrot. Perhaps next time, I will ask someone else if the carrots are ready to be picked.
