Robin and I went to the summer market in Michaelstadt this weekend. It was a cloudy day, but there were plenty of people at the market. During the day, there were two bike races through the middle of the town. We decided to watch the first one. When we got there, we realized there was something special about this race - most of the racers were dressed kind of...funny. There were guys in McDonald's shirts with candy in a basket on the back of their bike. Guys dressed up kind of like bugs. Other guys were wearing long, blonde wigs... and then there was the huge milk shake attached to the back of a bike. The most creative, was the cappuccino build on top of a bike. The race was a relay race and each team represented some business in town. It was really funny to watch... The milkshake made it around the course in surprisingly good time. As did the cappuccino. The winner of the race was the guys in wigs....

This post reminded me of a travel show I was watching... There is a festival (I think in Germany?) where people dress up in masks and hit people with pig bladders. I couldn't believe it! I love reading your blog.
